As Vanta’s Senior Global Employment Counsel, you’ll work closely with our People team as we continue to grow our ranks in the U.S. and internationally. This role is responsible for all employment related legal issues, including drafting agreements, counseling the People team, and developing employment handbooks and policies. You will support compliance with US and international regulations and assist with employment-related due diligence for mergers/acquisitions.

The Legal Counsel, Employment will help Wealthsimple scale its employee relations function, managing a variety of employment related legal matters and helping the Company comply with legal requirements. Responsibilities include supporting policy development, providing strategic legal advice on business and human resources initiatives, managing employment litigation files and human rights matters, and providing legal training.
